Trev performs English Country Dance, Scottish Fiddle, Jazz and Classical music. Weather permitting!
I'm the maestro behind Androgyny Music. I am a versatile violinist performing along the entire spectrum of traditional to modern.
I began my training on violin at an early age before going on to study at The University of North Carolina School of the Arts (Winston Salem NC) and Berklee College of Music (Boston MA).
My familiarity with musical genres ranges from Classical, Jazz, Pop, Folk, and Electronic. I'm a fluent improviser, deftly navigating your musical moments with ease, taste and grace.
'Androgyny' is the quality or state of being neither specifically feminine or masculine, or the combination of feminine and masculine characteristics. The implication is that 'androgyny' entails accessibility regardless of who you are, and where you are coming from.
Within the context of my original music, my artist name Androgyny speaks to the blending of moods, perspectives, and genres.
Within the context of my private event work, 'androgyny' means providing my client with what they need. This may be traditional, modern, or both.
I'm taking a break to build up my music library. I'll resume this December 2021.
I am performing at the third POP SWAP event Nov 21st from 11am to 3pm. Lots of queer art and vendors. It'll be a fun time! FREE to attend!
My original music is inspired by traditional acoustic music and modern electronic music.
